LASER LIQUID SKY
On 30th of November 2023 the Dept. of Electronics And Communication organized a program Laser liquid sky as a part of Fugenix X , which was open for all without any entry fee. Almost 150 school students came to be a part of the program. One of the reasons the "liquid sky" illusion is so effective is that it plays with our sense of depth perception.By splitting the laser beam into two planes and directing them at different angles, the illusion creates the impression of a three- dimensional space. The fog in the room adds to this effect by creating a sense of depth and texture. The result is a truly immersive experience that transports the viewer into another world. Another interesting aspect of the " liquid sky" illusion it is that is highly customisable. By changing the colour and intensity of lasers, as well as angle and position of the fog beam splitter, artists and performers can create a wide range of different effects. For example, the illusion can be used to simulate the Northern Lights, a starry night sky, or even a futuristic cityscape.
