A workshop on Non destructive testing was held on 18-06-2022, forenoon session, under the auspices of the Mechanical Engineering Association, Dept. of Mechanical Engg. TechMex Group of Institutions, Ernakulam, was in charge of the Workshop. Officials from the TechMex Group of Institutions, Mr. Basil George and Dileep Kumar S, conducted theory and practical classes on commonly used NDT technologies such as the Liquid Die Penetrant method, Magnetic particle inspection, and Ultrasonic testing, among others. The theory lessons were held in the CAD Lab, while the practical sessions were held in the Heat Engines Lab of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. The Workshop was attended by pre-final-year and second-year students, who received Participation certificates.
