SNGCE, as a research centre affiliated with KUFOS (Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies), is committed to fostering a dynamic research environment with a focus on excellence, innovation, and ethical research practices. The institution's Office of Research Integrity plays a pivotal role in upholding research ethics and facilitating various research activities. In collaboration with the Office of Research Integrity, SNGCE conducts The Innovation Council (IIC) program, hackathons, and innovation challenges to promote creativity, interdisciplinary collaboration, and entrepreneurial spirit among students and faculty members. The institution also organizes conferences, workshops, and seminars to provide a platform for knowledge dissemination and intellectual exchange, with the Office of Research Integrity ensuring ethical considerations and fostering a collaborative atmosphere. SNGCE emphasizes the importance of high-quality publications, and the Office of Research Integrity supports researchers in selecting reputable journals, adhering to ethical publication practices, and enhancing the visibility and impact of their work. The institution actively promotes industry-academia collaboration, facilitated by the Office of Research Integrity, to bridge the gap between academia and industry, fostering innovation, and addressing real-world challenges. SNGCE's Centre for Advanced Studies and Training serves as a hub for interdisciplinary research and specialized training programs, with the Office of Research Integrity coordinating research activities and ensuring adherence to ethical standards. The Research and Innovation Centres at SNGCE further enhance research capabilities and collaboration. The Office of Research Integrity plays a significant role in securing research funding, identifying opportunities, and supporting researchers in developing grant proposals. Ethical research practices are prioritized through research ethics training programs conducted by the Office of Research Integrity, creating awareness and guiding researchers, students, and faculty members in responsible research conduct. The institution also encourages researchers to publish their work through PGP-Professional Gurukulam publications, supported by the Office of Research Integrity. SNGCE recognizes the importance of robust research infrastructure and collaborates with relevant departments to develop and maintain state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.
