ON

ONE HOME-ONE WOMAN ENTREPRENEUR

As part of Govt. of Kerala’s announcement that is year 2022-2023 as an entrepreneurial year and is aiming to develop one lakh entrepreneurs. Keeping in mind the importance of entrepreneurship, the Department of Management Studies, Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering in association with Aikaranadu Gramapanchayat launched a massive project to train and develop women entrepreneurs in the panchayath.

The President of the panchayat, the district intern, many invited dignitaries, and the college officials were present. The program was initiated with the welcome address of Prof. DR Milna Susan Joseph (HOD, Department of Management Studies, SNGCE) in the presence of Prof. DR. Kemthose P Paul (Principal, SNGCE) and other members of the administration. In the Presidential Address, DR E. P. Yashodharan (CEO, SNGCE) pointed out the significance of Woman Entrepreneurship in the present scenario.

Followed by that the Panchayat president of Aikkaranad Grama panchayath Smt. Deena Deepak addressed the gathering and expressed her appreciation towards the program also she stressed on the need of improved female participation in the business sector. Smt. Reshma G (Additional District Industrial Officer, Kunaathunadu taluk) also spoke on the same. Smt. Mini P John (Industry Extension officer, Vadavucode Block) shared her idea of financial independence among women. The speech by Mr. Sojin Varghese (District In charge intern Aikaranadu grama panchayat) was very motivating and eye-opening for everyone present. He assured his complete support towards the program's success and expressed his appreciation to every aspiring female entrepreneur. Mr. Ashokram, CEO of the well-known venture Chakkakkoottam International Pvt Ltd also blessed us with his presence and inspiring words. DR Rajeswari. R (Assistant Professor and Co-ordinator of the Project) proposed the Vote of Thanks.Around 20 aspiring women entrepreneurs were present in the program, they actively participated in the discussions and got their queries answered. The organizing team also collected answers to the questionnaires that asked the aspiring entrepreneurs' queries, which helped them gain insight into their requirements. The programs were concluded around 12: 45 am
