IEEE, pronounced “Eye-triple-E,” stands for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.SNGCE IEEE SB was inaugurated on 6th March, 2005, and the IEEE student branch of the Sree Narayana Gurukulam College of Engineering regularly organizes several technical and non-technical activities in a collaborative spirit. Some of the events include:Hands-on workshops in Advanced topics,Participation in Tech-fest,Industrial visits,Technical Quizzes,Linux workshop,EdwinXp workshop,Webinars on latest technology & many more.

The primary purpose of the IEEE student branch is to Inspire, Enable, Empower and Energize our student members to enhance their technical interests by providing them a platform to showcase their skills.We strive to bring out the best from our students with utmost love, care and mentorship

MISSION

» To arrange for regular events on the campus specifically dealing with the latest technologies.
» To increase the Membership Retention, though the benefits of IEEE.
» To organize technical awareness programs for young professionals.
» To form more Special Interest Groups to encourage project activity among the student members
» To kindle student’s interest in making new papers and projects.
» To strive towards achieving more IEEE-sponsored awards and aim at representing papers in international conferences.
» To provide better exposure to each individual to the outside world of technology.
» To enhance interrelations of multiple IEEE branch in the state.

The IEEE Student Branch of SNGCE, now a vibrant community of 101 committed student members, has experienced remarkable growth and success under the visionary leadership of our esteemed Branch Counsellors. From the moment of its revival, the branch has consistently reached new heights, with our talented members securing key positions in the Student Activity Committees of the Kerala Section. These accomplishments reflect our commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
